Trekking

You will be amazed and indeed enthralled by nature’s beauty at this peak. You also have a good trekking experience to the Sengutraian peak. This trekking will help you on a real time basis , of how to be determined and persistent in reaching zenith of success.Trekking will be in midst of tea fields and some forest area. You will be crossing some streams.

Difficulty level - Moderate to Difficult. Anyone can do this trekking. if you want make it challenging we can take a separate challenging route. if you are willing to finish this trek, you can do that within 2 to 3 hours. Anyone can do this.

Accommodation type: you will be staying in room with 3 or 4 sharing rooms. With Attached toilets.Bison valley cottage or Madawa row rooms.

Trekking distance : 7 to 8 Kms.

Food : Basic Veg Meals (2 Breakfasts, 2 Lunch, 1 Dinner)

Transport : We will be arranging a vehicle to be picked from ooty or coonoor town. Also you will be dropped to ooty or coonoor town. This will be additional cost. Rs 1000/- for a tata Indica cab for one way. If you are a group, you can pool yourselves.

Distance from Bangalore : 320 Kms

Distance from ooty : 39 Kms

Distance from coonoor : 24 kms.

Attraction: Valley veiw with beautiful landscape. Birding, Photography, wildlife, Tea plantation Knowledge, Tea tasting.

Tentative Schedule:

Arrival day:
08:00AM	Reach our esate, Refresh, have breakfast, and Get ready for trekking.
09:00AM	Start trekking to Sengutraian peak.Trek 8KM both ways.
01:00PM	reach the room. Lunch at room.
04:00PM	Tea cultivation training. Right from tea planting to pluking of leaves.
7:00pm	Reach room, Campfire (Optional) - Dinner

Second Day
08:00AM	Breakfast
09:00AM	Rest & Relax
12:00PM	Lunch
02:00PM	Start back to Ooty/coonoor.

Suggested things to carry:

One back pack
Water bottles 2 litres
Change of clothes for two days
Sunscreen & sunglasses
Toiletries (Shampoo, towel, toothpaste, tissue paper, combe etc.)
Allergy medication (if any)
Energy food like chocolate, nutribars etc (If you wish)
Juice packs, Glucon-D etc. (If you wish)
Torches with new batteries
Camera (Optional)
Rain coat (Just in case)

Pricing

Price: Rs.2000.00 /per person.

Above charges include: Accommodation, Veg Meals, first aid kit, Guide charges and miscellaneous.
Above charges does not include: Transport from ooty or Coonoor, Detour, emergency evacuation or medication other than first aid. Food on the way.

Transport

We can arrange a cab from ooty or Coonoor. This will cost Rs 1000/- for one way.

Or you can come by public transport:

You have to catch a bus to coonoor from Ooty, again in coonoor bustand you have to catch a bus to Kollakambay. Kollakambay is the last stop.
There are several buses which ply from coonoor to Kollkambay. After reaching Kollakambay, please give a call to us. We will send a jeep to pick you up. The pickup from Kollakambay to estate will cost you Rs 200/- one way for the whole group.
or you can come by an Auto from Coonoor, it will cost you Rs 400/- to Rs 450/- one way.
